Your journey begins with a 2-night stay in Cairo at the 5-star Marriott Mena House Hotel, home to some of the world’s most iconic archaeological wonders and is set at the base of the Pyramids.  You'll be able to walk to one of Egypt's most popular attractions, be close to the Sphinx, Cairo University and the Egyptian Museum. Get to know your fellow travellers over a welcome cocktail reception and an included welcome dinner with wine or beer with your stay in Cairo. You will also have the option to join an exclusive full day optional guided tour to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, a must-see for those fascinated by ancient civilizations (pricing TBA).

From Cairo, we travel to Istanbul, Turkey, for a 2-night stay at the 5-star Orient Occident Hotel Istanbul, Autograph Collection.  Situated in historical peninsula and just steps away from the iconic historical values Spice Bazaar, shops and legendary landmarks Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Enjoy this fascinating city that bridges Europe and Asia, with vibrant streets, along with a half-day Bosphorus Strait cruise with lunch included, offering incredible views of the palaces and shoreline neighbourhoods along the strait.

We set sail from Istanbul, a city where East truly meets West, with its blend of cultures, gorgeous skyline, and rich heritage. Wake up in the morning as we arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey, a lively port town and gateway to the legendary ancient ruins of Ephesus, one of the most impressive classical cities in the world.  This evening, we will set sail for Santorini Island, Greece.

We reach Santorini, Greece this morning, where whitewashed villages like Oia and Fira cling to the volcanic cliffs, offering some of the most iconic views in the Aegean. From here, we sail to Mykonos, Greece, known for its charming alleys, lively waterfront, and signature windmills, perfect for strolling and soaking in island life. Next, we set sail to Athens (Piraeus), Greece, where ancient history comes to life at the Acropolis, Parthenon, and bustling Plaka district. Onto Olympia (Katakolon), Greece, where the first Olympic Games were held. Here you will find peaceful ruins surrounded by olive groves and quiet countryside.

We continue our journey and sail to Valletta, Malta, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with grand fortresses, golden stone buildings, and sweeping sea views. Our next port is Catania, Sicily, nestled at the base of Mount Etna. Explore its historic streets, lively markets, and stunning views shaped by both lava and legend. We continue along the coast to the Amalfi Coast (Salerno), Italy, one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline in the country. Take in dramatic cliffs, colourful villages, and endless sea views. Finally, we disembark in Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy for our triumphant return to Canada.
